 Recently one of our valued moderators posed this question in a forum topic and while opinions may vary I would like to share our thoughts (more specifically mine) and give some insight into how we are finding the balance in Alba between reality and gameplay.

An Introduction to the Castles of Scotland
 A castle, at least in most people´s imagination, is a beautiful place with a big hall, some dining rooms and a high stone wall surrounding a large courtyard. It is protected by towers and has a nice little drawbridge over a moat. It is owned by a noble and is occupied by a princess and her court ladies. Knights in shiny armor come by often and ask for shelter for a night or two, before moving on to the next jousting tournament.
