Autumn, 1290 AD. The death of the young Queen Margaret has left Scotland without an undisputed successor to the throne. Will the impending civil war allow the English King, Edward 'Longshanks' to succeed in annexing Alba or will the Clans unite and win their independence?

A castle, at least in most people´s imagination, is a beautiful place with a big hall, some dining rooms and a high stone wall surrounding a large courtyard. It is protected by towers and has a nice little drawbridge over a moat. It is owned by a noble and is occupied by a princess and her court ladies. Knights in shiny armor come by often and ask for shelter for a night or two, before moving on to the next jousting tournament.
